| SH24 - Shorthand For Beginners in 24 Hours | ||
You can choose to learn at home or attend KeyNet's Training Centre at times to suit you. Shorthand training is available at our training centre in Glenfield, Leicester or as Distance Learning / Home Study courses. Beginners course. At KeyNet Training Centre the course is Tutor-led on a one-to one basis. Start to write in shorthand after 2 lessons!Learn: new shorthand theory each lesson; how to transcribe; how to read shorthand quickly and easily; how to use your shorthand for dictation of documents and letters. This course teaches you how to use the shorthand system with plenty of reading and writing practice. A study pack is provided and the tutor-led classes are often on a one-to-one basis and give you all the guidance and encouragement you need. Usually Teeline shorthand but others such as Pitman  shorthand also available.

| SH60 - Shorthand For Beginners in 60 Hours / OCR | ||
You can choose to learn at home or attend KeyNet's Training Centre at times to suit you, possibly daily for 3 to 5 weeks or other arrangement suitable for you. 60 hours + exam times. Shorthand training is available at our training centre in Glenfield, Leicester or as Distance Learning / Home Study courses.This course is suitable for complete beginners and leads to recognised
qualifications for those who require them. At KeyNet training Centre the course is Tutor-led on a one-to one
basis. Start to write in
shorthand after 2 lessons! 30 hours of theory and 30 hours of study for dictation,
transcription and assignments. This course includes one (or
two) examinations. These are available through OCR (RSA) or Pitman
Qualifications. 60 Hours Certificate Course

| SH2 - Shorthand Speed Development / OCR | ||
You can choose to learn at home or attend KeyNet's Training Centre at times to suit you. Shorthand speed development training is available at our training centre in Glenfield, Leicester or as a Distance Learning / Home Study course. Knowledge of a shorthand system is necessary. Choices Include Pitman 2000 shorthand, Pitman New Era shorthand or Teeline shorthand. We are able to offer an extensive choice of shorthand speed development courses. These courses are suitable as a follow on for the beginner courses as knowledge of a shorthand system is necessary. Practice material is available for you to improve your shorthand writing speed and accuracy. Includes dictation and transcriptions checked by course tutor. We use several tapes of different voices at different speeds. Certificate upon completion. Entry for OCR examination available if required. | SH4 - Shorthand Refresher | ||
Knowledge of a shorthand system is necessary. Choices Include Pitman 2000 shorthand, Pitman New Era shorthand and Teeline shorthand. We are able to offer an extensive choice of
shorthand refresher courses available at KeyNet Training Centre or as Distance Learning
courses. Knowledge of a shorthand system is necessary. The refresher courses cover a
review of the system, dictation of letters and memos and transcriptions checked by course
tutor. Certificate upon completion. Shorthand
refresher training is available at our training centre in Glenfield, Leicester
or as a Distance Learning / Home Study course.

| SH5 - Shorthand in 24 Hours - Home Study | ||
Simple Self Study Pack / Distance Learning STUDY PACK INCLUDES:
If required you may purchase the Self Study Pack only without the Correspondence Support provided on the full Distance Learning course. For Distance Learners the amount of hours spent studying may vary. The Distance Learning option may still include, if required, an introductory lesson on a one-to-one basis with the course tutor, pre-exam lesson and attending KeyNet for examinations. You will receive the course materials detailed
above which include a Presentation Folder containing KeyNet Instruction Manual(s),
Exercise Book(s), Shorthand Notepad, Pen, Pencil and Eraser. When you return your work to
us we mark it and return it to you with feedback and results. You then continue to submit
your work in this way. Telephone assistance is available if required. A Certificate is
issued upon completion or if required you can book into an examination through
OCR (RSA) or
Pitman Qualifications.
